Saturday Feburary 28, 2026 | 1:00-3:00 PM | In Person | Gallery Walk through

What happens when an exhibition moves from passive viewing to active participation? Join MESC for an in-person field trip to LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes to explore how multimedia interactives can deepen engagement with school groups and multigenerational audiences.

Participants will connect with LA Plaza’s Curatorial Department and Engagement & Outreach teams during a guided walk-through of A Great Day in East L.A.: Celebrando the Eastside Sound. We’ll gain insight into how interactive design supports learning, storytelling, and community connection.
